034Motorsport Ignition Coils

Today I installed 034 Motorsport red top high output ignition coils and some fresh OEM NGK spark plugs gapped to 0.022". This setup will help support my Stage 3 build with the TTE710 Turbo. The ignition coils are supposed to provide higher output and aesthetics, and fresh plugs gapped down are a good idea for a hybrid turbo build. If your plugs and coils are getting a bit old, this is also a great option for you, but you don't need to gap the plugs down on a stock turbo.

Forge Motorsport Turbo Blanket

Your Audi S4 is fast, no doubt about it. But what if you want to make it more efficient and resist damaging, power robbing heat around your turbo? One option is to install a turbo blanket. A turbo blanket helps to prevent heat from escaping from the turbocharger hot side, while keeping the cold side colder. This leads to faster spooling of the turbo and faster access to power and greater efficiency. It can also help to prolong the life of other engine bay components by protecting them from excessive heat generated by the turbo.

Diverter Valve Failure - Audi B9 S4

Is your B9 S4, S5 or SQ5 experiencing a ton of compressor surge? It may be your recirculation valve failing. This has been a common issue across VW, Audi and related products over the years. There are always new revisions coming out and today I'm going to replace my diverter valve with a new one. I started getting horrible surging recently and traced it down to the original diverter valve which is an older revision than the most current. My car is right around 23,000 miles at the time of the video.

ECS Tuning Intercooler & Charge Pipes

Heat kills performance. Today we will upgrade my 2018 Audi S4 (B9 3.0L V6 TFSI) with a shiny new Front Mount Intercooler from ECS Tuning. Intercoolers are essentially heat exchangers for compressed air generated by a turbo or supercharger. Our S4s are turbocharged from the factory and make lots of heat. Combined with tunes, hybrid turbo upgrades and full frame builds the amount of heat created can be astounding. The factory FMIC was just too small to deal with these heat levels, especially in hot climates.

6.0L Power Stroke Injector Replacement

The problems experienced by my 6.0L Power Joke super duty have escalated and it's time to perform the needed repairs. Before we get started we'll also check out Adam's Polishes Mystery Box and see what kind of goodies I got inside. Then back to the truck I diagnosed a bad #1 cylinder HEUI injector. I'll tear the valve cover off and the oil rail. You'll be able to see what it's like to service this six liter rube goldberg contraption.

Power Stroke or Power Joke? Injector Issues & Testing

I've been having an issue with what I suspect is a sticking injector in my PowerJoke 6.0L turbo diesel V8. This is the engine the 2007 F250 SD. It's giving me a rough idle while warming up. Seems fine while driving, but throws a P0263 Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Contribution / Balance fault. There is no CEL but the code is there and pending.
