As you might recall my friend Sean dropped off his E36 M3 at my house the other day. We spent some time getting his brakes rebuilt which was a pretty significant project. He got them powder coated and they look absolutely amazing.

What's the best ceramic coating? Does an expensive wax really work better? At Dmitry's Garage we test detailing products to their limits so you don't waste your hard earned money. Check out our myriad of how-tos, DIYs, and video tutorials.
Beyond Detailing: We're obsessed with cars, builds, repairs, mods, and everything in-between. If you love cars, you're in good company.

As we saw in my prior 240SX video, the valve cover gasket is leaking on the 1996 16k mile 240SX that I picked up recently. This is not a big problem and an easy one to DIY fix yourself in the garage. It takes just a little patience and effort. These gaskets tend to fail from age and miles. I also show off my ultrasonic cleaner.

We test a USA made Precision Instruments 1/4" Drive Wrench against a Taiwanese made Capri Tools 1/4" Drive Wrench in a new segment called Five Minute Tool Reviews or FMTR for short. My goal is to finish a review and test run of the tools within a five minute window, not counting the intro or outro. This week I make a total hash of it and ramble on way too long!
We take Dmitry's Garage on the road with my friend Sanjin and explore the Texas Hill Country. My buddy brought along his recently purchased Jeep and I took my F250. This wasn't much of an off-roading adventure, but really more a fun time exploring the county roads of Texas. We had a great AirBNB rental on a ranch.

The speakers that came with my aging 2007 F250 were terrible. They just felt like absolute trash with the worst sound quality I've had in a car in years. I decided to get some new Pioneers and mate them up to my head unit. This guide should work for 2003 to 2007 F250 Crew Cab trucks, mine is a 6.0L turbo diesel.
Today I'm going to change up the spark plug and filter element of my 240SX S14 Zenki. This is the low miles (16K) stock 1996 that I picked up recently from Bring A Trailer. During the job I discovered the valve cover gasket is leaking around the spark plug wells.
Today I got a new-to-me 1996 Nissan 240SX from Bring A Trailer. The car has a mere 16K miles indicated and is a largely clean example. I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet. As it sits it is bone stock, 5-lug, 5-speed manual and is an SE trim spec. The leather and everything about it smells and screams 1990s. Amazing experience that is definitely once in a lifetime for someone who was still a kid back in the mid 90s.

Today I got my truck back from PSP Diesel of Houston, TX. These guys did a full tune up of my truck repairing many broken things and making it (hopefully) more reliable. The shop was very professional and turned the job around quickly. We did everything down to the shocks. Can't say it was cheap and I hope the decision doesn't come back to bite me.

My supercharge mustang generates a LOT of heat under the hood. It's time to let this thing breathe by allowing clean air to pass through the radiator, reducing coolant temperatures, and flowing out of the hood relieving some of the built up heat! The difference is pretty huge and the install is quite easy. I think anyone could do this themselves if you're careful.

This is a video that's all over the place! We will work on my F250 to rice it out with some new LED head lights, tail lights, third brake lights and a cold air intake! Then I show you the new Steeda sway bar as the fix to the pulley damage on my Stage 2 ProCharger kit from where I tried to run the Pedders sway bar. Finally we review my race gas tune on Sunoco 260 GT Plus unleaded 104 for my mustang. Lund did a great job remote tuning this beast!
