Today I'm going to change out the brake pads and flush/bleed the fluid in my 1996 Nissan 240SX. This is the super low miles (16K) car that I picked up not too long ago. The brakes were feeling a bit weak and wouldn't even really lock up. I used a Motive power bleeder to help speed up the flush and used some fresh pads.

Houston Coffee & Cars (October 2019)
Today I got to see some amazing cars at the October Coffee & Cars here in Houston, TX. The event was dedicated to deputy Sandeep Dhaliwal who was killed in the line of duty last month. The cars really were incredible, but the centerpiece was absolutely the McLaren Senna in the Richard Mille livery. Runner up for me would have been the Ferrari LaFerrari. The Ferrari TheFerrari seems like a dumb name, once translated, but it's an absolute stunner. The Sena really shut things down though! Gorgeous cars!
2019 GMC Sierra Denali Radar Detector & Dash Cam Hardwire Mirror Tap
I need to get my radar detector and dash cam wired in to my new GMC Denali. I always like a hardwire solution. It's along the lines of buy once cry once, but more in time investment and future convenience of having it all integrated. I hate having wires running around my dashboard into cigarette lighters, it's just not cool.
2017-2019 Audi A4 Oil Change (B9)
My 2017 Audi A4 has probably the easiest oil change procedure in the world. It is completely dummy proof and virtually mess free. Anyone can change the oil on their 2017-2019 B9. I used the Mityvac 7201 pump to pull the oil out of this 2.0L TFSI engine.

2019 Denali Ultimate CQuartz UK 3.0
I purchased a brand new 2019 GMC Denali Ultimate and it's time to paint correct it and put on some ceramic protection! I also used CarPro Iron X to decontaminate it and topped the whole thing off with CarPro Reload. I'm loving the new truck so far and it's a huge upgrade form the F250 that had constant issues. The 6.0 did turn out to be a "power joke", lets hope the Denali proves to be a stable beast!
2007 F250 New Wheels, Speedo Correction & Seat Belt Chime Defeat
The old power joke is now officially known as "King Tut" and today it got a set of new shoes. I stopped by the shop and picked up a set of 2019 F250 wheels with Michelin AT/2 tires. This means they're now 1" over the original size and I need to re-write the "As-Built" data. I'm going to use Ford IDS dealer software to perform the reprogramming work to correct the speedometer.
6.0L Power Stroke Injector Replacement
The problems experienced by my 6.0L Power Joke super duty have escalated and it's time to perform the needed repairs. Before we get started we'll also check out Adam's Polishes Mystery Box and see what kind of goodies I got inside. Then back to the truck I diagnosed a bad #1 cylinder HEUI injector. I'll tear the valve cover off and the oil rail. You'll be able to see what it's like to service this six liter rube goldberg contraption.
L&R SweepZone Ultrasonic Cleaner
Today we're going to use my L&R SweepZone 310 non-heated table top ultrasonic cleaner. You can see how incredibly powerful the ultrasonic cavitation cleaning action is. I was able to use the cleaner with some simple green HD to make an old RC car engine look brand new. It just took 60 minutes in the bath.
Power Stroke or Power Joke? Injector Issues & Testing
I've been having an issue with what I suspect is a sticking injector in my PowerJoke 6.0L turbo diesel V8. This is the engine the 2007 F250 SD. It's giving me a rough idle while warming up. Seems fine while driving, but throws a P0263 Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Contribution / Balance fault. There is no CEL but the code is there and pending.
