I will show you how I wash my Procharged Mustang GT project car and daily driven Sierra Denali Ultimate. Before diving into detailing my Mustang and Sierra I will show you the contents of my washing cart. This setup has everything you need to get through a car wash that doesn't need paint correction. You will see my tools, microfiber pads, buffing and drying cloths, and a wide array of go-to detailing chemicals.

I got the Mustang outside and started washing the wheels. Covered with dust from aggressive compounds, these wheels could be a detailing challenge! I then moved on to strip wash the old wax. I used my foam cannon to spray down the car and a nice washing pad to clean it all up. Once the Mustang had its bath I applied CarPro Iron X to the paint. It helps you get rid of all the iron contamination from the surface of your freshly washed paint. I also used a leaf blower to give the car a quick dry.

With the paint almost ready all I had left is to do a clay bar treatment. Clay bar removes the remaining contaminants from the paint leaving it smooth. Back in the garage I did a quick touch up to make sure the paint was totally dry and ready for protection. I cleaned up the glass and applied tire shine and a spray sealant to the wheels. Then I applied Gyeon Cure to the headlights, wrapped surfaces, matte surfaces and other sensitive areas. After the spray sealant I used Wolfgang Deep Gloss, a traditional liquid sealant, to cover the body of the vehicle. For the glass I wound up using Adam's Spray Coating.

Once the Mustang looked perfect I moved on to do the interior on the GMC Sierra Denali. That truck has a lot more features so it made for a more interesting interior cleaning. I started by spraying down the interior with Adam's Interior Detailer. Making sure to hit spots that people often miss. I used it on the doors too! Finally I dusted and vacuumed the truck and it was ready for leather treatment and dressing.
