The 2019-2022+ GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado 6.2L trucks are nearly silent. This is thanks to dual valves that block up way too much of the exhaust in an effort to muffle the V8 roar. I'm going to fix that with a Borla ProXS 40359 muffler. I'll cut off these ridiculous flapper valves (adaptive valves) and make it sound like a nice V8 again! Who wants a V8 with no rumble? Not me! Any reputable muffler shop should be able to help with this fix if you can't DIY it.

Today I'll show you how to change out the oil on my daily driven 2019 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. This truck has the 6.2L V8 L87 engine. The process should be identical on the Silverado and other same generation trucks with this engine. Of course you should check out your service manual to make sure that is correct. You don't even really need to lift the truck if you can just fit under it.
I need to get my radar detector and dash cam wired in to my new GMC Denali. I always like a hardwire solution. It's along the lines of buy once cry once, but more in time investment and future convenience of having it all integrated. I hate having wires running around my dashboard into cigarette lighters, it's just not cool.
I purchased a brand new 2019 GMC Denali Ultimate and it's time to paint correct it and put on some ceramic protection! I also used CarPro Iron X to decontaminate it and topped the whole thing off with CarPro Reload. I'm loving the new truck so far and it's a huge upgrade form the F250 that had constant issues. The old power joke is now officially known as "King Tut" and today it got a set of new shoes. I stopped by the shop and picked up a set of 2019 F250 wheels with Michelin AT/2 tires. This means they're now 1" over the original size and I need to re-write the "As-Built" data. I'm going to use Ford IDS dealer software to perform the reprogramming work to correct the speedometer.

I'll tear the valve cover off and the oil rail. You'll be able to see what it's like to service this six liter rube goldberg contraption.
We take Dmitry's Garage on the road with my friend Sanjin and explore the Texas Hill Country. My buddy brought along his recently purchased Jeep and I took my F250. This wasn't much of an off-roading adventure, but really more a fun time exploring the county roads of Texas. We had a great AirBNB rental on a ranch.
Today I got my truck back from PSP Diesel of Houston, TX. These guys did a full tune up of my truck repairing many broken things and making it (hopefully) more reliable. The shop was very professional and turned the job around quickly. We did everything down to the shocks. Can't say it was cheap and I hope the decision doesn't come back to bite me.
