I need to get my radar detector and dash cam wired in to my new GMC Denali. I always like a hardwire solution. It's along the lines of buy once cry once, but more in time investment and future convenience of having it all integrated. I hate having wires running around my dashboard into cigarette lighters, it's just not cool.
This tutorial will work for 2019-2020 Sierra/Silverado models and possibly earlier/later ones as well. In fact this trick will work for pretty much any car, since I'm showing you how to figure this out. I had no prior knowledge on which wires were hot and ground. This guide works with anything if you can figure out a bit of basic electrical know how.
