Don't buy a DSLR for YouTube!

Is a DSLR right for your new YouTube channel? What camera should you get? There is so much to choose from! Today I'm going to break down five common camera solutions and what I've learned about videography so far.

Just keep in mind the man makes the content not the camera, so if you can only afford to use your cell phone today that doesn't mean you can't make something special. My most popular video to date was shot with an iPhone.

Notes for pros: This is really meant as a general guide for someone starting out, not a full time professional or a shop. Most users aren't going to have the time and patience to color grade, run manual controls, manual focus, and setup each shot just right. They aren't working with professionals or models, but likely their friends. So just keep that in mind before you sharpen that pencil to tell me why a DSLR is all you use for your professional high IQ demands.
