Wax Slickness Testing - Coefficient of Friction

Today I'm introducing the second new forensic wax test which will be used for all future testing. We're going to be using the static coefficient of friction to determine the actual empirical change in slickness waxes, coatings and sealants provide. This testing removes our dependence on subjective slickness testing I used to perform using my hand and brain in the past.

Static coefficient of friction is the relationship between the friction of two surfaces. A low value indicates that the force required to budge our test block is easy (slick) compared to a high value which indicates it takes more effort.
